Crazy that i paid $250 for a new V8 Absolute 5 years ago. Honestly wouldn't spend that much again when you can get an Outsize for $100 more and it's a WAY better machine

I’ve had both, Weber and Nexgrill. Weber had a lot of issues with flame control and consistency. Nexgrill out lasted it and I ended up sticking with it. Had it for 7 years and no issues. I think it comes down to how you care for your items and environment you live in. Save your 800 bucks, get a Nexgrill! Made in America doesn’t mean anything anymore, if Ford is assembled in Mexico now. Life is universal. Just look for quality products materials and take care of your stuff.

Just tossed my 25 year old abused Weber, but I can’t justify buying another Weber with their anti-trust price controls and stupid prices. I’ll buy a quality Stainless grill with more features, better grill and flavor bars for half the price, and just take care of it. Cover it and put it in the shed when I’m done.

I only eat the bread and what not that I bake at home so it would be a no brainer to get that kitchen aid IF I wasn't poor as can be. IS there a stand mixer or I guess even a hand mixer for the broke baker that isnt going to be a regret buy in a while when I can finally afford a kitchen aid or am I better off working my hands to the bone daily ?

You’re missing the point ..in a few years that nextel to grill is going to rot out.. the constant heating and cooling will destroy the inferior frame cover, etc. of that unit. With the Weber eventually all grills, will need burners replaced.. and with the Weber. It’s well worth to rebuild it . Meaning replacing the parts that we’re out but the unit itself will last a long time.

My Nexgrill just fell apart after 7 years (burners replaced for free under the 5yr warranty right before it expired). The lid is pristine, but the burner box completely rusted out dropping the back of the burners, so here I am at the same decision point i was at 7 years ago. I could see paying triple for a Weber if it lasted 3-4 times as long and had a better overall cook, but otherwise i keep coming back to the comments others have made- i could buy a new nexgrill every 5 years and still come out ahead financially (I actually enjoy putting them together so that's not a factor). We often entertain so really need the bigger surface or i'd be tempted to get the midgrade weber as a compromise, and we grill nearly year round. Ultimately i'd love to be able to justify a Weber because i think they're built better, but spending $1000 on a grill just seems impossible to justify. Also thought I'd add i never use the side burner when grilling, but always get a grill with burner because it's exceedingly handy when the power goes out!

I've had my Nexgrill for over 15 years and it's still working. I just cannot get it clean so I bought a Royal Gourmet. Let's see if that lasts as long. Weber is too over priced for my taste. I don't need bells and whistles on my grill!!!

I just threw a Nexgrill away after five years. I replaced the flavor bars, grill grates and burners after three years. The box of the Nexgrill very cheaply made and fell apart after five years. In my opinion I would rather pay more and be able to replace parts for 15 years and still have a working grill. Weber is a better value if you want it to last longer.

I have watched people at Walmart not scan everything they put in their cart!!! Scan one package of chicken and put 3 packages in their cart. They don't add a number to their scan! How does the scan catch these thieves?

Fast forward to 2024 yhey state a charge of 16.99 for driver ( after you push order and pay. After all the questions. They can put your order on hold and charge you 10.00 plus ask for you to tip based on a total bill. The system struggles with prepaid Visa ( Already went through fraud of 420.00 ). Do far its a zero.

Higher tier grills have better warranty protection. You pay more for higher quality components like burners. Those cheaper brands will fall apart in a 1-2 yrs.
